Extra Cash, Yes Please!

With the help of the internet these days, there are endless amounts of ways how you can earn extra cash. Some of these ways include app development, social media marketing, blogging, YouTube, selling on eBay, selling on Amazon, affiliate marketing, freelancing, etc. The list really does go on in on. The good news is that it isn’t hard to get into a lot of these business models. Some require more work than others but ultimately, everything will work if you put your mind to it. In today’s article, I am going to be going over some of these methods.

  1. Freelancing

For beginners, this is definitely what I would get started with. For many of us, we have at least one valuable skill that we can offer the marketplace. Some skills could include copywriting, coding, writing, video editing, graphic designing, SEO, etc. If you don’t have something of value that you can offer, that’s okay. With a little bit of learning, you too can become very knowledgeable in a certain field and charge for your freelancing service. The good news with freelancing is the sky’s the limit. You can start marketing your services on Craigslist, Upwork, and Fiverr so that you can reach clients. The reason why I recommend this model for beginners is that of the ease of entry into the marketplace and the high return it provides you. You don’t have to invest any money but still get money in return.

  1. Blogging/YouTube

The reason why I put blogging with YouTube is that they both lead to one thing: personal branding. Many people don’t realize there are many legit ways to make money blogging. If you are on social media and have the ability to influence people, you are a brand even though you may not know it. Share your interests and passions with the world while providing value to them. This can be traveling, stocks, entrepreneurship, gaming, etc. People who have similar interests will be targeted by YouTube to watch your video via the recommended section. Blogging is a perfect idea for creative minds because you can be as creative as you want, it is your blog/channel. As your channel grows, so will your brand. You can start selling services through YouTube like private 1 on 1 coaching, a course, a free pdf, etc. Also, use Snapchat and Instagram to link to your blog. On your blog, you can sell affiliate products, your coaching services, training, and your own physical products. The more people you get on your brand, the more money you will generate. This is why social media is so powerful.

  1. Selling on Shopify, Amazon, and eBay

Online sales are totally revolutionizing how we do business online. With your personal brand, you can create a Shopify store that is linked to it. You can sell your own shirts, hats, and other merchandise that supports your brand. I would also look into doing some private labeling and arbitrage with Amazon. This includes buying things at a low price and then selling them for a profit on Amazon. I have done this in the past and it is a very neat business model. However, know the market that you are getting into because you are going to need to be putting some money on the line. The same thing goes with eBay. Learn how to find deeply discounted items whether they be at Goodwill or a garage sale and mark them up on these platforms.

In the end, there is so much opportunity when it comes to online business. It is here to stay and there is so much upside to it. I hope this article helps you.
